What to use to dry the truck?

I need something to dry my truck without producing swirl marks and such. I have used that wiper blade thing where you slide the water off. Not using that no more. Then I used those super absorb things from walmart and that is not picking up the water no more. So I need something to dry the truck with that won't harm it. I'm going out tonight to get it so any help on this would be awesome. Thanks.

I use the rubber like towel, I think called the super absorber from walmart. It's really good, I used it for many years detailing and swear by it

I use these. I can't remember where to get them though. They're that good.

Walmart has them and autozone. Work really well. Get it wet ring it out and then just wipe the truck off.

Yeah that's what I mean. I bought two of those (the small one not the XL) and as often as I wash and dry the truck, it has lost it's use to absorb the amount of water as it did before when I first bought it. Like I'm technically pushing the water around the truck it's not absorbing. So I thought there could be another product that I could use to dry the truck without swirls. If not, I'll kick my butt and get the XL one which is like 16 dollars!

When finished ring it out and then store it back in the tube with the lid. I have had mine for 3-4 years still works like day 1

Thats them....Walmart has them for like 10.00. if they dry out, soak them and use them

Where can I store it because I forgot one time this winter and stored it outside and it froze up

I've used an Absorber for years and years. If anything they seem to get better with use from my experience. I've tried the other ones that appear to be the same thing as the Absorber, but they are garbage. They don't absorb as well, and they get to stinking. Instead of saving a few bucks, it's like throwing your money in the stove. Has to be the real one. I'll also go over the truck w/ a soft cotton towel afterward too to polish it a bit if i'm not rushed.

The drill is wring it out, roll it up and put it back in the plastic container. I think if you let them dry out it doesn't do them a whole lot of good.

Thanks that's why I bought a second one because the first one dried out and now I forgot about the second one and left it outside (in the tube and all) but the weather froze it up so I thawed it out (hot water) ringed it, but doesn't want to absorb the water.

at my detail shop we use shami's........ and leaf blowers for high end cars and motorcycles

Call me crazy but what I do is take a leaf blower and blow dry my truck, then use a waffle weaved towel to dry off the remaining wetness.

I was thinking about using those Shami things. A leaf blower? If I had the money to play around I would do something like that and people would be wtf is he using a leaf blower for his truck lol.

If it gets frozen throw it in some hot water. Dont try pulling it apart it may tear.

I would use the leaf blower. However my neighbors think I am a freak as it is.

lol yeah I would love to get a leaf blower, that would really eliminate the time used to dry it! But I'll probably go with the absorber

and wait until spring when leaf blowers go on sale.
