Getting sand out of window slider
hey guys, some of you might know i went mudding saturday and when ever i roll my window up or down it makes a scraching noise cus i think there is some mud/sand down in there, i have gotten compresser and blowing thing and helped a little but still makes the noise. i would like to get it fixed cus i dont want my tint to get scrached from it.

try taking the black seal off. It is clipped in but may be tough to get out. then just rinse really good in there (i dk if you have power windows and locks so be careful)

ya i had the windows down and the blower thing down in there but it seems to still make the noise, i do have all power so that might not be best idea

take the door panel off and try your best to cover the motor and electronics with alumunim foil. Then take the black window seal off and rinse with water

and be careful you don't scratch your tint with the grits of the sand or anything. that would be bad. i know that would anger me.

well i ot the sand out a while ago, had the compressor wit air nosle on it and just stuck it all down there
