Default Clean OLD spray paint off

Ok, to those of you who have seen my introductory post, you have seen the flames that were spray painted (intentionally by past owner). Needless to say, they have been on the truck for a few years. hey are thick, and have a few spots already coming off a little, but the adhesion is very strong. There are multiple costs. Any way to remove the flames with minimal damage to original paint? Please keep in mind I only paid $150 for this truck! lol
**The best photos I have right now are at night, but you can see...

No way that I know of. You have to sand, prime and repaint hood and fenders.

Yeah that's probably not gonna just wash off lol. I would guess you will need to do what was stated above. Or just rattle can the whole truck lol.

Guys I work with told me to rattle can it. They told me to do it flat black... If I can just repaint the front clip, that would be the best, BUT there are stupid stickers on the tailgate and rear of the bed which are not helping the paint! lol I'm not sure what I will do yet.

Sand the whole thing and do it flat black. I think it would look cool. The fact that you paid 150 for it I would not go dumping a bunch cosmetic money into it.

Try a junkyard, you may luck out and find something matching to cut the time down

yes the tape lines. Some of the paint is thinner than other spots and has already come off some...hope this will work! Now I just need to try to get out and get some.
