Default save on windshield cleaner

If your on a buget,like I am.I can't afford the rain-x stuff,so I've been using
LAs totally awesome windshield cleaner. At DOLLAR TREE,for $1.00 a gallon, you can't go wrong. It works great on my ranger glass,I even use it on empty win-dex
bottles and fill 'em,for other glass cleaning jobs.
little more bang for your buck! Better than paying 4 or 5$ a gallon.
see ya,old retired guy

Most ammonia-based glass cleaners are similar in effectiveness.

That said, Rain-X is an amazing product. Not their glass cleaner but the actual Rain-X that you put on after cleaning the glass. Keeps it much cleaner for much longer, reduces dew and frost on cold mornings and can often eliminate the need for wipers on the highway.

Yes, RainX is pretty good stuff, the treatment.
Don't use ammonia cleaners if you've got tint film on your widows, it turns it purple.

Wax your windshield and you'd use even less. Ditto on wipers.

I wax my windshields and my windshield wipers dry rot before they ever wear out. I've changed my windshield wipers once on my 05' STi. The only time I really ever use the wipers or windshield cleaner is in the winter time when there is salt and the salt gets on the windshield after it's dried from the sun from the morning.
