Default Window stained

I used the following product to wipe around my window and brake light moldings (to clean it so I could put silicone around it): Purple Power Citrus Cleaner. Yes, I am sure there is a better product, but it is the only product I had that I thought I could trust to not be corrosive. The point is, there are white streaks that were sun-baked onto my rear window from the runoff. It will not come off with a razor blade, or windex/other household cleaners. Any ideas? Also, as a sidenote, does anybody know of a good product to repair surface scratches on windows?

Window cleaners, by seriousness of dirt:

1. Squirt bottle glass cleaner - Windex or similar. For everyday dirt, fingerprints, etc.

2. Aerosol glass cleaner - Sprayway, Bon Ami, Zep or similar. For cigarette smoke residue, mild sticky stuff, heavy dirt / oily stuff

3. Goo Gone for adhesive residue, steam cleaner for anything organic.

Beyond that, don't know. If it's on the outside, keep in mind that the glass can take an insane amount of pressure from a pressure washer. When I worked at the car wash we would regularly put a pressure washer nozzle at 1800PSI right against the glass to peel bug guts off (the faster you drive, the hotter it is, the harder they stick) and never once had an issue.

Window cleaner 0000 steel wool and a micro fiber or paper towel. That's how I clean windows. Spotless every time. Will clean hard water stains off like no ones business

I just bought a ranger and it had a sticker on the back window that I was able to get off. Only problem is there's still an outline of the sticker. I tried an adhesive removal pad (like alcohol swab) but I can still see it. Will goo gone fix this or is it beyond repair? Thanks

As I said before. 0000 steel wool and window cleaner. Or soap and water. Or a razor blade. The steel wool will not scratch the glass. Use 0000 wool. The finest that you can get. Will take anything off glass.
