Default Need Help! Infested.

Alright guys i need some help here. When i get to work i park my truck in the shade under a couple trees not in the woods but close enough for ants and all sorts of critters to get in my truck. Im tired of finding these guys all in my stuff! Especially the ants they get brutal. But anyways my question here is what would be a good way to keep them out?
I know some will say "hey maybe you shouldn't keep food and stuff in your car" well while thats all fine and dandy i dont want that answer.

Have you tried keeping your food in a cooler or something to keep the bugs from picking up the scent?

Park somewhere else, away from the ants and the critters and don't park under trees, before the inevitable eventually happens (sap, pitch, squirrel falls + dent, birds sh*t on your vehicle, squirrel discovers it's fun to rip cones off of the tree and drop them on your vehicle causing dents, a branch(es) falls and dents/glass breakage, it rains and dirt on tree lands on your vehicle and it's worse than not being under the tree, ice in winter melts, falls and dents your pickup, etc etc etc).

I had a co worker who's work truck had an ant problem. There was no food in it, but these tiny little ants were living in the air ducts.( I call them crazy ants because they run around all crazy like.) Every time he turned the a\c on the ants would blow out. Lol. Finally he had enough, and bug bombed it. Problem solved.

Bug bombs as areyouforcereal? mentioned, ant traps, etc. Perhaps a little raid here and there. Oh, and no food if you have any in there.

We should start a new thread called " I have a silly question but don't want a silly answer" thread.

how about , roll up the windows and lock doors ? or keep out signs ?

Throw a sandwich on the ground to distract them.

Or

Spray your tires with ant killer after you park

Or

Park somewhere else

Or

Find their house and declare war. Ring of fire with napalm.

Or

Park somewhere else

I got a kick out of the bug bomb idea, mostly because those are intended to be deployed in a room that's maybe 10' X 10' x 8'H, not a 5' X 5' X 3 1/2'H vehicle interior. I bet the feel of the fallout from those concentrated chemicals on the upholstery was just awesome beyond what words could ever describe, not to mention that knowing how high those cans spray, it just had to be raining bug bomb chemical off of the headliner.

Common sense is the best way to solve this problem.
