Can I wax my truck in 102 degree weather?

Not necessarily.... The wax won't be able to do its job to the fullest. I wouldn't try it, a good time for that is when it's about 94 or 95 out.

I didn't mean directly in sunlight... 102 degree weather in the shade can still make the job tricky.

Re: Waxing
Park it in the shade and let it cool off or wait for a cooler day to do it, that wax is not going to be very much fun to take off in that kind of heat.

Don't do it at night. You'll have problems with the moisture and humidity. Back when I actually waxed my truck( many years ago) I liked using that spray on wax stuff. Worked great, even in the south Texas heat.

Get yourself some NuFinish. Not wax, but shines real good. Itll work in direct sunlight. Wax will never work, not even the cheaters spray wax

Re: Waxing
Do it in the evening when the sun and the humidity is at its lowest point.
Wash
Clay bar
and use high quality wax don't cheap out. Look into mothers or meguiars products. Synthetic waxes go on and off easy and last a lot longer.
Mothers Synwax or Megs Ultimate wax
