picking up a can of the CD2 Detailer here at our local Autozone yesterday. Going to give this a try today!

Yeah, what did you cover up? Did you use pressure washer? Hose? Steam clean?... Looks way nice man!

Looks great! Gotta do it to mine soon, havent in 1 year, add up all the hours and I probably have 2 weeks non-stop of playing in mud haha. All I do is hose it off quickly

removed cone filter
covered battery, atenator, dist box (contains relays)

I used a garden hose

those of you with mud caked on there for more than a couple months, good luck getting it off... You'd be good to SOAK it in GUNK foaming and pressure wash it hard, but even then i doubt it would get fully clean.

i know this is off subject but stl your hood has gas shocks on them how did you do that is there an install mod on it???

Those are called hood struts. You can probably get the kit on ebay, and you can also get them at a JY. My neighbors jetta has them, and they are the bomb! I'll definitely be putting some on my next ranger.
