Re: What do you use to keep your truck smelling good?
I'm just your run of the mill newbie (I have introduced myself), so be patient. I bought this new Ford Ranger T6 in January and for a couple of weeks it had that new smell in it. Which I believe, differs from one manufacturer to the other , it may be the different adhesives they use, but OK that new smell is million dollar and you never get it back. Now my truck smells more like a baboon's cage (maybe its me). I don't want to hang up that flowery stuff that makes it smell like a French girl's room. Can one get something more masculine?

Perfect for every truck, or as i like to call it my skanktuary
Ladies man aside, i like turtle wax f21 super protectant. Use it for the uv blockers on the dash, and door panels, keep using it for its dead perfect new car smell they formulated it with. Also killer for the black plastic outside the truck. Gives your mirrors, lower valance etc, fresh from the factory black shine that lasts over a month even though its an "interior spray."

Remember the flower vase in the retro VW Beetle. Crazy isn't it. I thought of putting in a jerry can of Diesel and leave the cap a bit open, I love the smell of Diesel, but the missus frowned a bit on it.

Re: What do you use to keep your truck smelling good?
Also some read, they did also http://blogcritics.org/a-brief-history-of-the-car/ offer in Germany a whole array of vases as an option/aftermarket item for the old (real) Beetle as I understand.
Suppose them Germans had them in the Tiger tanks too, but no-no in my truck Jawohl.

Re: What do you use to keep your truck smelling good?
Just picked up some black ice trees today and I must say they are quite refreshing. First time using these, way better than the funk that I don't notice anymore.

Coffee beans in a small jar with holes in the lid stuffed into my center console..........love the smell of coffee plus its good for people with allergies to scents like candles & such........found that out years ago, as I clog up when I walk though the candle or laundry section of Walmart etc.

I recently discovered a scent by Little Trees called 'copper canyon.' I like it.
