Doesn't it run cooler giving you colder air for CAI to pick up?

Actually I just replied so I could find this thread again. Both of mine could use an engine bay detail.

Guys here's a tip, I'm not
Bashing simple green but it isn't cheap, I for one thing am not a cheapo by any means. At the dollar tree they sell
A degreaser called totally awesome in a clear bottle and its yellow liquid, it is the best cleaner I've ever used, I have a ton of it and its all I use on big jobs, I used it for the engine that I cleaned and as you can see it worked it, save yourself some money

http://www.dollartree.com/20-oz-Tota...8056/index.pro

There's a link, read some of the reviews..
I have 2000 mazda miata with a beige vinyl top that looked disgusting, I tried everything, I Tryed some of this it came out brand new, it was unbelievable

If i cant afford simple green to clean my truck ill probably have much larger issues to attend very soon. Been doing this since i got my truck new from the dealer, never shine after though( i think it looks too shady-used-car-dealer-prep). I also dont cover anything, i drive it the rain, it can get some hose water on it but i also dont attack the alt and fuses with a pressure nozzle. By far my favorite way to engine detail.

It's not that I can't afford simple green, if I was like you and cleaned a car once a year I'd be able to buy a bottle and have it last me 2 years. I'm 17 and clean at least 4 cars a week and its not practical esp when totally awesome in my opinion is better

Wow these results look amazing. I'll be doing the body this weekend, maybe the engine bay soon.

Honestly I would do the engine bay before you wash the body And everything, it doesn't take long, I probably get it done in about 30 mins
