Default Ranger covers

Anyone know where to get a reliable , low priced tonneau cover? I've been watching Craig's list for the past few weeks but the ones listed aren't that great. Ebay has one I am looking at for $160 but not sure what to do yet. I have a 6ft bed.

When I bought my truck it came with a tonneau cover which looked nice but the rail that went over the tailgate was a pia to remove and made it so access to the bed was a pia, so I couldn't sell it so I gave it to a friend. So I bought another soft cover Extang which the bar was easier to remove but got to thinking how unsecured the bed was and all it would take is a knife to access the bed and I sold it at a big loss.So to make a long story short I wish I would have just bought the one I have now, a solid aluminum 3 way fold up that can be entirely removed by myself in about 2 minutes and you can stand on it for about $499 called a Tonna-Pro.So my point is I wish I would have just bought the best to start with and saved me a lot of hassle and $$$, you get what you pay for.You can refer to my albums in the sig and see the original the next and last one by the dates of the pictures.I also have a Pop-n-loc tailgate lock which is rather flimsy but not much out there for a lock. http://youtu.be/5JUgalbwYq0

No, unless Summitracing.com or another site has a super sale. Keep checking CL or EBay. Timing is everything. Sooner or later someone may have a steal.

Oh OK. I was actually looking at the hard cases too but they didn't match my truck color. I thought the bed rail part just connected by the 2 rail insertions on each side? I was looking at getting the snap on unless you don't think that's a good idea.

----------

OK mike, let me check out the sight and see what they have

Snap tonneau covers are nice and look good if you don't have anything of value in the bed also go to a dealer and take the back tailgate brace off and on and make sure it's a piece of cake to remove and re-install.I like to yard sale in the Summer and buy mowers and tillers fix em up and resale them and it made my life so much easier to just flip the solid cover open.
