Found these today to replace my vinyl base seats, but they had to be broken down to the last bolt and cleaned. It got dark as I was putting them back together so I'll better get pics tomorrow of the finished product.
PS- 93-97 seats DO NOT go in 98+ rangers. Nothing about them fits. Not the seat bolts, seat belts, seat rails, seat frames, seat pads, seat covers, NOTHING is interchangeable so you have to get creative to make them work.
After one pass with the cleaner it already looked better.
every make has its problems. chevy's outside bolster on the driver's side, i have repaired hundreds of them.
is your truck reg cab? If so, how far off was the tracks? I have been trying to find someone to do just what you did. can you get me some pictures of the tracks?
Yeah it is WAY too close. I tried to drive it just now and it isn't working out. The armrest sticks backwards 4 inches and pushes itself into my subwoofer box making me scoot the seat up. The one thing I wanted in all this is making me choose between my two fav things. LOL. Gonna have to find a new source of sound.
