Craftsman Buffer

Anyone use these? I got one for Christmas and dont know a whole lot about it.... Would regular wax work like Mequires Gold Wax or NXT? Or should I go surf Autogeek and get something off there?

I don't know about the Craftsman. It may well be a good one. But I know from first hand experience that the one from Meguiars will NOT burn paint no matter what. Not even on the corners. A chimp could polish and buff with one.

I used the same one but it was a 7" buffer for my detailing business. I had 2 of them and they kick ass! I didnt like the 10" ones, not enough speed to them and the 7" can fit in tighter places too. Make sure you use applicator pads, the ones they come with can be washed and re-used and actually last a long time. If you use meguiars ultimate compound, NXT paste wax it will come out great!! Also use micro fiber or terry cloth to remove the dry wax, do it by hand because the buffer polishing pads get gummed ep and will leave smear marks all over.

Thats a great price for these buffers. I may invest in a 7 inch like Clinton!

It really isnt... A griots 3 inch on Autogeek is 89 something...
