I doubt it. That pistol doesn't take clips.

The "usual" magazine configuration is 7 rounds, single stacked for a 1911-style semi-auto. ...as such, it sounds like 2 mags + 1 "in the pipe" to total 15 rounds.

I know, Drew -- that's why I said "usual". The original Colt 1911 and most other manufacturer copies of the 1911 (at least until the past couple years) stayed true(r) to the original design and used a 7-rd. magazine.

so, anyway... nearly new pistol, less than 2 magazines cycled through it.

I really wish you'd bought it in stainless, Mike. I'd be taking tomorrow off and taking a road trip!!

i only have one 9mm at present, and I don't want to trade my satin stainless 92FS for anything... i'm comfortable enough with it now to put all 16 (15+1) rounds on an 8.5x11" piece of paper at 25 yds, point-shooting... it's just that comfortable/familiar to me, now.

I will let my buddies know what you have available, if they're in the market...
