Default surrounded by towels

So the other day it was really nice out, so instead of cruising in the ranger I took the ole harley out for a ride. I was zipping down Knight street here in Vancouver and the light turned red. So I am waiting for a green and I here over the growl of the bike a kinda whining sound. I instantly check behind me but the wife is at work. The whining sound gets louder anyway, and suddenly i am surrounded by scooters. Like 20 or maybe 25!! You know what scooters I mean, the little ones you can rent for a day, or by the hour. There are east indian guys riding in a group on these little scooters, zipping in and out of traffic, their brightly coloured turbans cheering up the afternoon. It was very strange to say the least. I am dressed all in black, jeans boots gloves chaps jacket helmet bike, looking mean... these guys are on brightly coloured machines, wearing those really loose silk pants that they like, and laughing like maniacs. The leader of the group says they are following me, and I should lead them to nirvana or some such. then the light turned green and they buzzed off into the distance, cutting off cars and splitting lanes like they own the road, and almost falling off the scooters with their antics and hilarity. It just made my day. But it was the weirdest thing ever.
Just thought I would share my weirdest riding experience ever.

Cool story Mike. Too bad someone didn't get a video. Sounds too funny.

God the mental image I get when I read this is so great. It just makes me happy to picture Indian men going insane on scooters. 'Many many goods on these scooter my friend.'
