Default Off-road trails in Southern Ontario?

Where are some good off-road trails for those in the Toronto area? Within 50 kms?

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sourc...=UTF8&t=h&z=15

Here is a place near my house that i see trucks, jeeps, atvs and dirtbikes in often... there is a few trails but they don't go too far... there is also a big mud hole and stuff back there too, looks like a really cool place though

More than your 50km objective, but there are some good public-access (crown land) trails past Ardbeg (a little North of Parry Sound). My iPad says: Saw Cut Run 1-51, Whitestone,‎ Ontario, Canada - this is the end of the paved road.

I took your advise and went out there this morning... FUN!!! You need to use your head for sure. There's plenty of places that could get you into real trouble. Great trails, I'll go back for sure. Do you know who the land owner is? I didn't see any trespassing signs?

Again out of the 50km limit but well worth the drive as the saying goes.....try the minden haliburton area, also washago black river road, swift rapids road, ardbeg is a well known area too, big chute area, Green's Mountain gooderham which is for some serious rigs .

That should keep you happy for a few years...lol happy 4 wheeling, used to jeep back in the day, yep I'm old and crippled now. 25 years of jeeping those areas and all over Ontario and BC.
