Today, I took delivery of my 2002 FX4, bought privately from a local guy (within 60 klicks). Very clean and straight, 200,000k, and what I consider overpriced, but everything is overpriced, so I gues I did OK.

Runs very well, and everything works, made 120kph most of the way home, not a whimper.

Bought it as a winter beater, but it is nicer than my original intention. I was looking for a good running older pickup, 4WD, to use as a freighter and general winter run-about. Dang, might end up spending money on this FX4 to make it just that much nicer. Will be eligible for Collector plate in a very few years, so we'll see.

I'm just following my usual habit of joining a good forum for whatever vehicle I pick up, mostly older mototcycles, so I have a knowledge source as I fix it up.
