Been told that 15" rims won't fit my 06 2wd ford ranger. I have a few buddies that run 15's but I have been told from the local shop that 15" rims will not fit over the callipers. I seem to think they will fit. Anyone know anything about this? A 06 a funny year or so thing? Please let me know what you think before I do a test fit.
Thanks!

Yeah and I know some of them came with 15's but mine says on the inside of the door that 16" are stock size. I picked up a set of duratrac that take a 15" rim and just called the local tire shop over the weekend and they told me that 16" is the smallest rim that my truck will take. I have a few buddies with rangers. 03,09,11 and both the 03,09 are 2wd and came stock with 15" rims

I know the 2010 & 2011's have had issues due to the rear disc brakes.
Here is a thread where Vista4.0 has stated there has been issues with certain 15's on the 2004 & newer Rangers. I know all sorts of people run them (Ranger Wheel Reference Page)
I know on the pre-04's they fit (I ran them on my 2003).
There has been previous input that on the 2004 & newer models something changed & might cause issues depending on the brand & I know for sure things changed on the 2010 & newer models.
