Default CB wires

I want to put a CB in the ranger but cant find a good place to mount in without the stick in the way. Also I dont know where to run the coaxel cable with out doing a whole lot of cutting. Could I easily go though the firewall? In my Cabellero (Camino) I just rolled the window up and the cable was pushed up into the rubber but, I wont work in the danger ranger. And so if you could post pics of where your CB is located and tell how you ran you cable to your antenna that would be awesome!

Thanks

STL, these antenna are ok if you just have a stock cb, but if you are using a moded 10 meter rig like a connex then you will burn the finals up as those antennas are hard to get the SWR's low enough that you can talk without hurting the radio. And they are real narrow banded as where the swr is good on ch1, they are through the roof on ch40, not really a happy medium unless you stay on one channel.

I mounted mine to the right of my steering wheel below the head light switch. As for the cable I ran it under the carpet and there is a rubber grommet in front of your seat you can run the cable through. Then I ran it along the frame and then up through the rubber grommet in the front of the bed. I can take pics when I get home later today if you want.

The last one is hard to see but the antenna is mounted on the drivers side inside of the bed. Right behind the cab.

Anybody have a PA speaker hooked to their CB? I just dug my old one out of the basement and realized it just has a little foot long stub of a wire coming out of it as I had to cut it out of my wrecked jeep. So now I have to figure out a replacement for the cord. I know it's a 3.5mm jack but I'm not sure if its mono or stereo. Its prob mono but I don't have any mono 3.5mm cords laying around. Does it matter what I use?

It is a mono plug, but you can use either.
