Default which box would you recomend

okay guys i have 2 12" kicker comp r's (the new ones that are replacing the cvr) i have the switch on the subs at 1 ohm. i also have a hifonics brutus BRZ1200.1d i currrently have a sealed box but i wanna switch to a ported box. which box would you guys pic between these two.

i like this one cause i have blue accents in my truck

The only way you'll get true performance out if your kickers is to build your own box to spec.

Even with the power you're running, id look around 4-5 cu ft net of box volume with 42-60sq in of port area with the corresponding length of the port to tune the enclosure somewhere between 34-36hz. Thats where ive seen most kicker series 12s have an optimal output while still achieving a decently flat response curve. Hope that helps.

If I was going to choose between the two boxes I would choose the first one with the blue baffle for two reasons.
1. It has a larger volume. Which I prefer the deeper thump you get from them larger boxes.
2. It looks cool with the blue baffle.

they have em in all dif colors but i got alot of blue in my truck hence her name "blu"

Every subwoofer has box size parameters, sealed and ported, that it performs best in. You need to get a box within those parameters.

Lets you lean the seats all the way back & slide all the way back without touching it and its ported correctly.

Custom sub box for extra cab 200 OBO
Take a look I'm trying to find it a good home
