I was responding to this post that you wrote. Are you implying that the green lighted decal on the back window is the same thing as the clarion equalizer that I posted?

Most of today's eqs only need one set of rca cables for input and they generate 3 sets (6 plug ins) of out puts. I personally have a Clarion eqs746 eq which you can get on amazon or ebay brand new for $50. For $30 differece between an eq and the line out converter, youll never regret that you got an eq.
Do not add an EQ to your system that already has EQ. You will only add noise.

Is it hyphonics or Hifonics ?

Hows that? If he uses a line out converter, it'll create noise more then anything else.

The Clarion EQ I posted has 3 sets of 7v pre outs. If anything, his amps will run more efficiently, and not work as hard.

The higher the voltage coming through the rca cables to amplifiers, the lower you can set the gain on your amp to make the same amount of power.

Yes but the one in your video is not an equalizer neither is the home decal I posted. I posted the home decal in reference to your post about searching on Amazon for it.

i see where he is coming from ull have interference from the eq since its a small area to run ur wires especially keeping ur power wires away from the speaker wires and RCA's

An eq has the power and ground wires the size of your radio properly jacketed rca cables would shield any miniscule interference that an eq would create. With an eq the op will be able to run the 1 set of rca out puts from his radio to an eq the the eq will process that set of signals into an L and R Front, Rear, and Subwoofer set of preouts 6 total plug ins from the eq rendering the line out converters useless while gaining proper sound staging and a higher voltage signal to his amplifiers.

If you dont know what an equalizer actually does please do a little research. :-D

i want to add the clarion EQ to my system. im not sure if my head unit will suport that though. my head unit only has one pre out and from looking at pictures it looks like EQs require two pre out inputs in the rear. could i still make it work for my head unit if i only have one set of female RCAs in the back like this

Youre good the second set of inputs is auxiliary. To plug In an ipod or other electronics.
