Default Re: Problems with stock CD Player

This happend to me.. and although it might sound harsh hit eject then when the slot opens if your in the driver seat hit the right part of the dash right above the cd player it will eject after a little bit but try to only use one cd at a time instead of loading 3 or 4 slots at a time.. but my advice would just be drive to a wal mart or best buy and get a 60 or 70 doller one they are nicer and plus some ever have and headphone jack if you'd want to buy the cord you can plug it in there then hook it up to almost anything ipod, phone, laptop, exc. but hope this helped

Yep, same thing happened to me, too. Had to bend a thick paper clip to find the hole of the stuck CD in question. I'm replacing mine with a nice Kenwood model, plus speakers, from Crutchfield. After 109K, I think it's overdue!

I answered the questioned from the guy with the crappy stock headunit with a question so maybe his answer would help me help him. If his answer is no, I can recommend some good digital media players. I have noticed on these forums, the members with lower intellect usually resort to lame bullying attempts.

Pioneer makes the best. Go to Crutchfield.com and enter your truck info. I have ~3500 songs on an iPod. My Pioneer head controls it well. Pioneer does best with an iPhone. You can get double din or single in a digital media player.
