Anyone run into the issue of cracking the top magnet on a sub? Took mine out to put it in the new comp box and initially thought it locked up...Got that problem fixed and noticed the sub would stay up when it reached a certain level. Took the sub back out to look at the coils and everything was fine until I looked at the magnet. Im guessing the top plate shifted to much and is causing it to stick, but was just curious if anyone has ran into this problem before, and if so were you able to get the magnet back in place and have normal quality or did u replace the sub? I've never heard of that happening, my guess would be you're going to end up replacing the subwoofer.

ehhh it still hits, but u hear a scratch/pop sound...last night after i got off, i tried tapping the magnet back in place and it caused the pop/scratching noises to subside alot...im going to mess with it a little more tonight after i get off work and see if i can possibly get it lined up properly, and maybe use some sort of epoxy to keep it in place until i get a new sub...facts of life learned, tax return gets spent and you run into a truck problem =/
