New Speakers

I want to get some new speakers for my truck and i was looking at some alpine speakers, i dont have a lot of money at the moment and was wondering if i should get 2 Alpine type R speakers for the front for about $220, or should i get 4 Alpine type S speakers for about $240. What im really asking is should i get really good speakers for the front, or should i get something cheaper and do all 4 doors.

look into the Kenwood Excelon KFC-X682C's they sound great, and if you search around the web, you can actually get all 4 for under $200....

i'd say 2 nicer speakers > 4 not as nice speakers.
especially considering how small ranger cabs are so 2 speakers is plenty...

If you can still find a pair of these around you can get a killer deal on them and they are very impressive speakers. I got a pair for really cheap last year and love how they sound.

i found the type s's sound to tin-ny, but thats my opinion.

IMHO Option 1, get really good speakers for the front.

Ebay it up for some Kenwood's. I got four for pretty cheap. Sound good too!
