Default Bass ranger

Alrighty I want to install some speakers in my green 1999 ford ranger since I believe the speakers are weak that are already within the vehicle. Any tips, ideas, or thoughts anyone would like to share about how I should go about completing my task would be excellent. Thank you very much

Easy. Find some you like. Buy them. Install them.

Not exactly sure what you're asking, therefore you get a smart ass remark

All of these answers sound great and thanks for the quick responses. As far as specifics go I'd like to spend no more than $350 and I want the system that I end up choosing to have excellent bass. I also do not plan on installing anything I get by myself so my next question would be who or what service should I use to get a sound system installed at a reasonable price?

Why would you not want to install anything yourself?? It's the best feeling ever hooking something new up and getting in and slamming to it!
And for 350 install included your options are kind of limited.. Craigslist would be a good start for that.
I currently have about 3K in mine.

Are you wanting a system that thumps from 2 blocks away or do you want to add some bass to your current stock setup just to enhance the quality of sound?

Option one you'll never get at $350 unless you get sponsored by a shop or company.

Option two like bassaddict said. Hit up the list of craigs for some deals. Personally id be looking for one MAYBE two 10s. I had a single 10" JL with an 350 watt Alpine single channel in my 2000 silverado extended cab with a Eclipse head unit that sounded, to me, absolutely perfect.

Hooking up a sub and amp combo really isn't that hard. There's plenty of knowledge on here that someone who doesn't know anything about stereos can do it with just a few answeres from us.

You will not get a whole system from Walmart for 350 bucks .

My set up and cost and sounds amazing I can bang out rap with bass or have light kicks with the country music

good pioneer head unit 100 to 150
Kicker front door speakers 85
Alpine S rears I paid 30 retail in store 60 ish
12 inch kicker L3 truck box retail 250 I paid 125
Polk audio 800 w mono amp retail 250 I paid 125

Personally if I could change it id go with a bass inferno 1000w
2 kicker 10 inch l3s
And all around kicker door speakers
Retail for that set up probably 600 plus instal at 70 bucks an hour

Go on Craigslist people can't give car audio away, trust me I've tried

I bought my 2 bass tubes and amp (jl 250/1) for $150 that was a real good deal, I got lucky. My deck was $130(good deal on crutchfield.) Walmart 6x8s for rear $30. Pioneer 6x8 for front $70. Plus knuconceptz wiring kit for $30. $20 for adapters. So $400 on a decent good sounding system with the expensive stuff used. I wired everything myself it's so worth it. Makes you feel good knowing you did it. So you may want to open your budget.

From what I hear there isn't anything wrong with the tubes. Loud? Not at all but they do add the extra low end sound some guys are looking for without being douche bags that blast their music for everyone to hear. Not saying you do. Just clarifying.

They are loud inside and give you a balanced system. You can hear it outside maybe enough to bother the car next to you if the windows are down.

Don't mind edge man. He needs to 15s and a jacked up truck. You know them dudes that have to compensate. Trust me he blast his music so everyone thinks he is bad ass. Doesn't want to go back to high school where he got picked on everyday and got his face busted every other day.
