rear speaker went out.. makes no sound

i just bought this truck about few months about and the rear speaker went out? is theres fuse for it?

it only 6000 miles on it when i bought it... rear speakers makes no sound just today.

any help would be great, thank you.

Ive never heard of a speaker just going out....... crackling and popping during high volume/bass usually. I would check the wiring at the plug in the back of the speaker, and also at the back of the radio

All 4 of mine randomly went out, it can happen

fuse would have been a easy job lol
it a stock speakers
the rear 2 just stop making noise. only the front 2 works just fine.
i dont crank up radio... vol 10-16

anyways ill look at it in the weekends,.... i hate doing body works)

your truck is alot newer and a different radio but mine did that, then i figured out theres a button on the radio (comp, its called) and a "c" shows up by the volume and that runs the speakers behind the seats

That makes no sense. The 'comp' button is supposed to help make poor quality compressed audio files sound better. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not. There is nothing on the head that turns any speaker 'on' or 'off'. The only things on the head that affect any of the 4 speakers is volume, fade, balance, bass, treble, and the physical speaker outputs themselves. Alot of the XL Rangers don't have rear speakers installed at all. If there were rear speakers and they don't make sound now, the fade is set all the way front, or something has came loose, or 2 channels of the audio output mysteriously quit.

well you can definitely tell they kick in when you push it, thus it may appear they dont have sound. it sure doesnt sound like theyre on really unless the comp is on when youre in my truck. ik that most base xls dont have rear speakers and most likely dont have a cd player. i was just thought it was a feature of cd player headunit. it was just a suggestion of something i noticed for him to check even if i didnt really know what it really was, dont have to bust my balls

Dude, your truck only has 6k miles. And it's a 2010.

Take it to a dealer and make them replace/fix it. It's under warranty.
