Infinity Basslink Questions
Just wondering how I would hook it up to my head unit which has no provisions for it. I know people have hooked it up to the stock head unit I just dont know what I need to accomplish this. If it matters I am running a Panasonic CQ-5800U for my head unit, but like I said it has no provisions for system expansion. Well thanks for your time in advance.

If it's the original Infinity Basslink I'm pretty sure that it has speaker and line level inputs. The Basslink II only has RCA jack inputs.

I don't know anything about the Basslink II, but for the original, you are correct.
All the instructions for wiring it that way are included.

So basically everything I need to hook it up is included with the unit?

You'd still need power/ground wires.
I got my Basslink from Crutchfield over the summer. It came with a free amp wiring kit with power/ground/RCA cables. You obviously wouldn't need the RCA's but you'd still need the other two. All other wiring for speaker-level input is included with the sub.

Just installed it today, this thing rocks. Went with the Basslink 1, but thanks to all that helped.

It took forever, but it was raining all day and I was NOT going to have a new toy sitting in a box and starring at me saying "install me, Install me" . The hardest/most time consuming pert was pulling the input wire to the front speakers trough the door grommet. As for mounting I have the woofer facing the ground mounter horizontally behind the drivers seat.
Will post pictures later, but now I have to go install my Powertrax No-Slip in my rear diff .

Re: Infinity Basslink Questions
How does it sound horizantal. I was looking at placing mine in the same place you have yours. I was curious as to the sound difference, b'c all the post I had seen previously had shown them vertical.
