I'm looking to put a sub in my 94 xlt extended cab. I don't want anything that will shake the truck, and drown out the rest of the music to the point I wouldn't be able to hear it anymore. What size sub should I look for?

This is what I have kicker 8in, i would say that it deffinitly fits the criteria of what you want. Its loud enough for you to know its there but it's not too much, just enough to fill in the extra wanted bass. If you shop around you can find it for a better price but the link is just to show you what to look for. I found mine in a package deal with an amp and wiring kit on ebay for like $185

I have a Memphis PR 10 and LOVE it. it works perfectly. Granted, the PR's are mid level stuff, but i'm not planning on entering in any competetions so it works awesome.

I have 10 in my tuck, it shakes the window and back cab into rattling noises. It will shake the wheel and make change jump on the floor. A nice 8 maybe a better choice, besides they need a smaller box.
