Default need some ideas !

Hey guys i have a 1995 xtl extended cab and need some ideas for my build. I have 1 10" phoenix gold r1 sub. MTX thunder 500peak 300RMS ... and 2 5 by 7 speakers in the back... Heres my issue, The box i have is pretty big for a 10" its the MTX tunder series box. and i want to be able to use one of the back fold down seats just in case i need one. so the plan is to stand the sub on its side port facing up and sub facing inside behind the passenger seat. I just cant figure out what to build to hold the sub from falling and id like to mount back speakers somewhere else because the passenger side speaker is being blocked. ill have pics soon and cant find the box dimensions. any ideas would be great thanks guys

If you want more sound don't point the sub in the air. Point it towards the wall or window giving the bass something to bounce off.

Forget the rear speakers. You should have good full range speakers in front and you won't know the rear full range speakers are there anyway. Put a good set of amped component speakers in the front doors.

Forget 'peak' or 'max' numbers and stop dealing with trash like phoenix gold. Use only the RMS specs of anything.

Get a smaller box with a 10" sub made to work well with it's tuning that is rated close to the 300 watts RMS of the amp you have.
