Manufacturers have been known to cut expenses, remove features, etc. for walmart merchandise, but they usually (if not always) use different model numbers to designate it's a cheaper version. I doubt it exists in the car audio section since consumers are usually seeking a particular product but I know it was prominent in the TV division where many consumers are uneducated and just looking for the cheapest whatever size TV.

most of the time it has to do with they use cheap brands. such as walmart carries alot of schoshe products for car audio. i ran those rca cables on the opposite side of my power wire, so itd be the clearest sound i could get. After awhile i went to a car audio shop and changed them out and it was better sound. Also if you read the reviews for those cables i got someone was like it works pretty good but the connectors fell off.

yah that walmart special isnt a good idea. best bet is really just to get a headunit so you can really adjust everything. if you get one get a pioneer. they have a highpass filter so no bass goes to the door speakers.
