so a buddy of mine from another forum is into audio tech and everything, gave me a list of some good equiptment, that wont break my bank, but provide what im looking for.

What im looking for is something better than stock, but nothing that will break the windows lol.

Looks good but the money is on the box the subwoofer goes in. Sealed or ported ?

Assuming the RF 6x8's are for the front and you have a sealed box for the JL, which you are powering with the bridged rear channel output of the amp ? The Pioneer head should have good HPF and LPF, which you should use over the amp's.

most likely sealed box yes, custom fit for the ranger.
