Re: Sub/Subs for a regular cab.
You'll most likely have to do a custom box. I have a 10" Basstation, doesn't rattle the windows because its only got a 100watt built in amp, but it gets the job done for me.

It will deffinantly be a custom box, 1 10'' will deffinantly work for me too. But is it a shallow mount?

Re: Sub/Subs for a regular cab.
Its like a powered sub. The amp is in the enclosure too. Kinda weak, but sounds good with my music. I think they have a 450watt version now, but not sure...
Refer to my build thread for pics, link below...
----------
Theres some people on here thats built real good custom boxs for reg cabs. Theres a thread called show your system you should search up and may get some ideas or people to contact from there.

Re: Sub/Subs for a regular cab.
Im legally binded by my employer to make this next statement... FVCK SOUNDSTREAM!!!
(business deal gone bad)
Anyway... enough thread jacking. As for the op's question. We've got boxes IN STOCK that will fit nicely varying from 4 8"s to 2 12"s... for under 200 its hard to get something to sound nice as your basic GOOD amps go for that. For 1 12", Box, amp and wiring through our shop would run around 300... And would sound fantastic. A 10" or 8" would work but for maximum effect... 12" is the route Id suggest you go.

I have a single 8" probox sub in a cheap box, both shallow. Its just enough to give me the bass i want (listen to alot of dubstep)

Gonna be hard to not spend 300 at least to get a decent system, from my experiences.
