Hey should i get 2 8 inch subs to replace the back speakers, or just get one ten inch and keep the back speakers in a single cab?

You don't need rear speakers at all, especially in a single cab.

to REPLACE the back speakers?! Sub not a replacement for speakers. I'd still use some sort of speakers back there if you want the proper mid-range sound. As far as low.. its all in what you want. You can get 2 8"s to sound as good as 2 10"s... all about what exactly you want.

I have a reg cab with 1 10" in ported probox. It sounds GREAT!!! There is some modification involved with the trim panels but was easy to do. Box goes from door to door with port on pass side.
