Speaker Sizes?
I put a JVC double din touchscreen deck in my truck, (cannot remember specific model) and a Kicker 10" Shallow (400w) and a kicker 300w amp with that, as soon as i bought it. But now im pretty sure the deck has blown the speakers in the truck, and I want to get some better sounding ones, as i realized how much better they could be after hearing my dads stock truck speakers ('12 king ranch f-250) as i know aftermarket are better than stock. I think I will run with kicker's again but what sizes are these speakers?

Kicker 6x8's may not be really sensitive enough speakers for the low power from just your head. Different story if you use a 4 channel amp to them. Let us know which way they will be powered and we will show you some good speakers to use. Not knocking Kicker, but there are lots better.

Re: Speaker Sizes?
It is a JVC KW-AVX830 Deck, and it is a '10 FX4, and yea I never really put it to mind that they will be powered by the deck and not a amp.

Re: Speaker Sizes?
What type of speakers (brand really) would work best just being powered by the deck?

Re: Speaker Sizes?
Nothing that will cost me a arm and leg but I do not mind spending a bit more for quality, such as I did with the head unit and sub/amp.
