Default What GPS/touchscreen video players fit?

So i was shopping on crutchfield and was told by their technicians that I would have to modify the dash on my truck to fit a video/gps player in my truck... Is this true or do i just need a special mounting bracket... I know i've seen some video players on trucks in this site but cant seem to remember who had one.

This is the player i want does anyone know if it will fit or what i need to make it fit?

Any standard double din will require you trim the dash but I wouldn't worry about it. The amount you take off is small, and is invisible even if you put the stock radio back in.

The edge you remove is on the top and bottom of the radio hole in the bezel to permit standard double din to fit in height.

The edges in the red box top and bottom are removed

I have the 5435 Eclipse in my 2004 XLT Ranger & I didn't trim anything. I won't deny it was a tight fit but it's in there & NO cracks & it looks factory!

I have a Kenwood dnx6960 in my 2008, I had to dremmel down the lips like in the post above. This was no problem at all, the fit for me was pretty snug and it has not moved at all in my truck even though I havent secured it yet since I just put in
