Default Billet Antennas

Hey do yall know how well these short billet antennas work that you can get off of ebay? Im tired of my big tall one. Do they pick up good reception? I got an 8in one.

I had a stainless polished fancy one for a long long time, reception was fine it was a 12". Only thing I did not like was it didnt bend at all so offroading sucked if you hit a branch I was worried about snapping it off.

I took the stock antenna and cut it level with the cab, so it stops hitting my garage door. I run that set up now with no issues or change in reception.

i shortened mine about 4-5 inches when i made it into an arrow. no loss of reception. its still taller then my cab but i want it like that so i can find it easier in parking lots lol

my friend had one of those shorty ones on his car and lost all reception.
