What type and wattage amp and subwoofer should I get for my 2002 Ford Ranger?
I recently bought a Pioneer DEH-p3000ib and 4 Infinity 6 x 8 Reference speakers and I installed it all with my friend. The speakers are amazing and the deck is awesome. The major problem i am having is rattling when its only turned up about half way, and I want to get an amp and sub eventually. What is a cheap way to go about stopping the rattling in the doors, ect (it is a regular cab with a very little amount of space behind the seats- about 8 inches wide and 11 inches high with about 14 inches of width space?)
I also wanted to know what kind of wattage I should get for a small amp and if anyone knows of a good cheap sub. Would it be cool to get a little 8 inch sub and set it in the middle behind the seats? (The speakers have a 60 watt rms and 180 peak power. The stereo deck I have is 50 watts x 4/ Should I get an amp to power just the sub?)
Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post.
Reg cab Ranger owners, help!
