2 10 kicker subs and kicker amp
hello guys i was thinking about purchasing this.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-03-Ford-R...item336518d2ce
being a teenager, i like to keep my seats in the back so i can fit more people. these subs will fit behind both of my bucket seats in the back. what are your guys thoughts on this set-up? and should i be able to mount that amp under one of my seats? thanks

Re: 2 10 kicker subs and kicker amp
You could do a bodylift for 200. Or new rims/tires

How do you fit people in your back seats anyways? Are they midgets?

Not a bad deal at all. The boxes are sealed tho, so if you like rap music, they aren't ideal. As long as both subs are 4 ohm each and you wire them as a 2 ohm load to the amp, they will get 150 watts each and hit at the same time. I agree that Kicker don't make the best subs, but that amp and sub combo is about right. They are in seperate boxes for fitment reasons. Do not mount the amp against the back wall of the truck. It must be mounted upright and flat so the heat sinks can properly dissipate heat from the electronics. If it will fit under a seat and have room to pass your hand all around it, it will be OK. You can see from the specs on these links that the amp and subs will go good together. Just set the highpass on your full range amp or your head to around ~100 hz, make sure you have your gains set correctly, and Rock Out.

Re: 2 10 kicker subs and kicker amp
Ah yep missed that part. I had the same problem. I had 2 10's for a while. Nobody could fit in the back so I went to one 12 behind the driver seat so I could still use one of the back seats, but my friends would rather drive themselves than sit in the back of my truck. So I went to 2 12's.

Evidence ? Ever read the installation instructions ? Do you know anything about electronics ? Do you know what a heat sink is ? Do you know what heat dissipation means ?
