Hello,
I just bought a 2011 Ranger. Love the truck, hate the radio. The display is garbage, it gives very little information and I can't see it with sun glasses on. And I need Bluetooth, which Ford doesn't offer in the Ranger. I would like to replace it with something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (well...maybe just an arm
). I need the following features:
Bluetooth
CD/MP3 Player
AM/FM
Sirius/XM (using the stock Sirius antenna)
iPod input
I have been looking around on the forum and on Amazon, etc., but I don't know what will fit the Ranger. I've seen reference to a Kenwood model that would need add-ons for Bluetooth and Sirius. Where would these go? Do they mount in the radio or somewhere in the dash?
Also, would this type of receiver be difficult to install or is it pretty much a direct replacement?
From reading this forum, I can tell that there are some knowledgeable people here, so I'm hoping to draw on some of your experience to help me make an informed decision.
Thank you in advance for any help.
