Default Alpine Type S 10" Sub

Does anyone have any ideas or pics of boxes that will fit in a reg. cab? I have 2 10"s from my old truck but i would proably only need one in this little guy. I dont wanna loose too much leg room either. Any Ideas?

As I posted in another thread in my buddies truck we but a box that went between his bucket seats and the best part was it was a vented box and a dual cup holder its really not that hard have it so the face of the sub is facing the back so the magnet would b parallel with your thighs in a seated position

its gonna be really hard to get 2 10 inch subs in a reg cab without alot of modification, trust me i tried, i managed to get 1 without losing any leg room on the drivers side and only losing minimal leg room on the passanger side, even most audio shops will tell you to put dual 8s because they dont need as much air space

FYI: In a Reg Cab Truck you have approx 4" depth max without loosing the ability to move your seat all the way back. That is also using just 1/2" MDF which is ok because the box is rather small and doesn't require a bunch of bracing. I have built many boxes for the Reg Cab and I've put a Clarion 10" shallow mount sub and kept every inch of leg room. The real problem happens after you build the box and it fits perfectly you won't be able to find a place to mount your amps! You'll be out of room behind the seats and there isn't much room under the seats either. You would probably be better off with a high excursion 8" or 6" sub. I've used both and they are very impresive. Put in what fits properly and it will sound 10X better than something doesn't fit. Just my opinion.

build a box if you have the time, skill and tools. a sealed box with those subs sounds nice. I had 1 10" S in my single cab a while ago, ill try and dig up the picture. But i found out that for my 99 you could fit a 33" wide (7" bottom, 5" top) box and not lose leg room. mount the amp under the seat or make a smaller box and mount it to the side. ill dig up my old 10 and amp picture
