Default factory speaker

So the factory speakers are 5x7/6x8 depening on where you measure right?
Well how come these http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SPS5...e-SPS-517.html saw they dont fit in my 98 ranger?

Cause they won't fit in the front they will fit in the EXT Cab back doors if you have EXT...

I tried it with my truck with 2 door and 4 door. it says no for the 2 door and yes for the 4 door.

They should work just fine. Those "fit guides" are never 100% accurate. Ive put those Alpines in a Ranger before. They base it on depth. But those Alpines show a depth of 2 11/16" and I have Pioneer Revs that measure 3" depth in my front doors with no problems. You should be fine.

Did you like the alpines?
I just bought an alpine h.u. and I figured might as well do a full alpine system for now till i get enough doll hairs for a sub/box..

Yeah, The Alpines have a good full and balanced sound to them. Not too much high freq and not too bass heavy.
