You need to hook up your remote wire to the 12v switched wire in the factory harness. It should only have 12 volts when the key is on. The color of the wire is Yellow with a black stripe. Your line out converter should go to the rear speaker wires which are RR pos: Orange/red neg: brown/pink. LR pos: gray/blue neg: tan/yellow. Hope this helps. Be sure and double check the yellow/black wire (12v switched) with a meter or test light too.
