Re: MTX Thunderforms??
Never heard one before. I would guess it is a down firing setup

Re: MTX Thunderforms??
correct on the down firing, it should sound alright, i have 2 downfiring 10s in my f150 and its alright, loud inside but no one can hear it outside, which is ok too because then the police leave you alone

Re: MTX Thunderforms??
I have looked into these...I have wondered the sound quality...Amazon has them for 50 cheaper than Crutchfield. I read some reviews on there.

Re: MTX Thunderforms??
Just make sure you get shallow mount subwoofers. If you put full size subs in a small box they will not sound as good

Re: MTX Thunderforms??
Some of those come with the subs, and they have the right air flow for the subs they come with...

Re: MTX Thunderforms??
They sound damn good. It is a sealed box with 2 MTX 10" subs and a built in 200 watt amp. I have one that came out of my F250. Still trying to sell it. I might hook it up to my home JVC surround amp. I sold my F250 and wasn't about to let my system go with it, so put all the stock back in. If you wanna spend over $600 for a good custom fit box with subs and amp, you wont be disappointed. It also has a remote level knob you can install in your console or dash. It has gain and LPF crossover on amp. You can connect it to stock or aftermarket head.
If you listen to mostly rap or hiphop, it's probably not for you.
