What ford OEM headunits will fit in the ranger?
Will explorer (ect) headunits fit?
I have a single CD headunit, and want to change over to the CD/Tape headunit. Will it be direct plug and play?

yea should be plug n play. if its 6 cd changer, make sure its in ship mode or itll be locked up an wont work. but everything should work.

Some FX4's and Level II's came standard with dual media CD/cassette HU's that will plug right in to your Edge. Late 90's/early 2000's Explorer dual media are little different but they should also be a direct swap. There are surely other Ford plug and play HU's but you'd need to check the plug receptacles on the back and the mounting method for compatibility.
