I recommend two single 4ohm 8" subs or two dual 2ohm 8" subs, running at ~150-200 RMS each. don't worry about "peak" power ratings, they aren't all that important.

And make your own box, don't waste money buying one.

If your gonna buy a sub system, why buy a low quality one like that?

^^you mean two 8" subwoofers?
two 8" subwoofers hits the same as about a 12" but more on the side of JL's 13.5's.
plus you can plce one behin each seat, for a more equal feel and sound, instead of one 12" anywhere.
If I ever do a sound system again in a small truck I'd use two 8's.

8"s can't fill out the LOW lows that I like, thats why I go with a minimum of 10"s, but that personal preference. A pair of 8"s will hit the volume of a 12" in the higher frequencies, but can't match that earth shaking rumble down low.

^They don't quite rumble as much as a twelve, but definitely equivalence to a single 10". But they do respond and peak nearly the same as 10's and 12's, such as a W3 8" and a W3 12" the 8's will actually respond lower than the 12, however the 12 will peak lower than the 8's (depending on the boxes ofcourse, but most often.)

^^yeah I don't really understand where you're coming from either.
I think you're talking about Johnbaum13's?
If so, I'm not a big fan of sony, however they do make good stuff, and infinity pioneer and kicker all make some of the best audio equipment available today, and have great equipment for the most common price range of consumers. What audio company do you prefer?
