Hey Everyone

I have recently bought an 88 Ranger Ext. Cab and am looking into replacing the stock head unit and speakers. It has the factory HU and 2 dash speakers and two in the back of the cab. I'm not real picky on audio quality but want something better than stock. Looking at Pioneer G series units and the Pioneer DEH1300 HU.

Questions are about the speaker installation.

Replace the dash speakers or just forget them and put door speakers in?
How bad is it to put front door speakers in?

Any advice or tips or pictures would be great

do whatever you feel like lol. the door panel should hold some speakers if you choose to do it. anything better than stock is a great improvement lol. i was thinkin of replacing the dash with some tweeters and upgrade the cab speakers in my 86. I've drawn up some designs for a custom center console to hold a 10" or 12" sub facing the rear, bass is a must lol. tell me what you decide im still building up ideas.
