Huh? With no cab I would think you would have plenty of space! Lol!
I use the limited space behind the seat for small items. For larger items I use the bed.
Now with the windows up and driving slow I can hear myself fart.
You really don't want the windows up for that though.
Really, your question went over my head.

Re: Sounds for a 2 dr ranger?
i have two tens in my single cab, not enough airspace for them to sound good...they are going in my F150 S-Crew here shortly and im going to build a nice box for one 12...
as far as space for things-in the cab hell no! thats why i bought a tonneau cover and carpeted my bed floor.....HUGE trunk space!!
and i also had a fart-can exhaust dumped before the axle.. very noisy in the cab, i wouldnt suggest it. im going to do a side exit here shortly.
well, i have no idea what specifics your question was geared towards, so i just gave you some of my single-cab knowledge

Most of us use speakers. Some use subwoofers (a form of speaker).
It sounds kind of like you want people to tell you what choice to make. And you won't get that from me.
What's good? Whatever reproduces the music to your liking. As a starting point, Alpine, Kicker, Pioneer, JL Audio, Infinity, and Boston Acoustics are all quality manufacturers.

Re: Sounds for a 2 dr ranger?
Wow people.... connect the Dots will ya?
And well I have a 10 inch oldschool MTX slim box I got from my dad that fits back there. It has 2 tweeters and a 10 in. Sub I had to replace the old Sub with a newer MTX cus the old one was like 10 years old haha.
but yeah it fits in my single cab decent I had to slide the seat up like 3 inches but its all good. Nice sound too.
Also they make these Speaker boxes called Bazooka boxes they are basically cylinders you can put speakers in they produce great bass as well. especially in single cabs.
