hey guys just wondering are the rangers speaker sizes 6x9 in the back and 6.5 up front?? and also i know every one is probably sick of answering this question but i want a sub set up that would be able to fit in a reg cab. not necessarilyhaving to be powered sub but with limited space it would be the prefrerred option, thanks for your time everyone!

I'm not too sure on the speaker sizes of your truck but try Crutchfield.com you can find the exacts to fit your truck including subs

i do believe they are 5x7 all around!!!!

I have a small system,

Pioneer headunit

2 planet audio 350w 10s with an alpine 500w amp.

It hits pretty good!

Next thing im doing is getting some pioneer 6x8s (stock ranger size)

Stock speakers are 6x8. 5x7's also work because they're the same overall size.

you could get a shallow mount type r if you have the money but generally you'll want to find a shallow mount that is without getting a powered one.

I knew there was another size too just couldn't think of it!!!

it is 5x7 all the way around !!! ford alway run 5x7 in most of there cars

they make special boxes for reg cap you just have to look around but, i know it gets kind of cramped if u do put subs in. so if your a taller guy it might not be worth it

i have a jvc hu 2 12 rockford r1s with 1500w amp
also 2 kicker 6x8 powered by kenwood 500w 4ch
installed my self!!!

5x7 is stock and 6x8 is when u buy after market speakers

Crutchfield shows the door speakers to be 5 1/4" and the REAR speakers to be 6" X 8."

i pulled my rear stock speakers out and put 6x8 kickers in
the kickers were bigger then the stock 5x7

Not true at all. Stock is 6x8.
