Default Fi 12q in a single cab ranger

Thinking of putting the fi q 12" in my ranger... my current box is about 1 cube tuned to 35hz. planning on getting the mrx m100 alpine amp soon. Think the box will be fine size wise for the 12"? or should i drop to the 10"? and what other subs would you consider for under 250? sub is goin to be invert mounted between the seats

If you can get access to the manual for the sub, it should tell you what cubic inch and HZ the sub will perform in. If not there i would suggest googling for that model sub and see what info you could find. Also maybe research how the sub will react inverted. I have a set of 12" Polk Momo subs in a ported box with a 1KW monoblock amp (don't know the age) that are amazing!!! I bought them used off craigslist so IDK what a set would cost nowadays.

I can tell you right now 1 cube for that 12" isn't going to be nearly enough.

I know it says 1.8. But would it be that bad? Should I drop down to the 10? Love the looks of the bottom case and magnet on the fi.
I could make a new box and seal it but my max dimensions are like 42w x 13h x 7bd x 5td

you could put some polyfill in the box i heard that it would make the sub sound like it was in a bigger box thats just what i heard dont know if its true

Do you want a box designed for you? I know somebody who does box designs for $1. He does a great job. If you want a box design from him let me know and I'll get you his email.
