Default Cheap and best way?

Thinking about purchasing some type of little subwoofer say possibly biggest is going to be a 10 inch whatever brand. What would be the best way to go about trying to get a sub into a single cab with vertually no room behind the seats for even that small little truck box behind the seat? Do i make the passenger just eat the dash just to get the sound? What do i do?

you get a shallow mount box and put it in the back. they make them custom for rangers.

Get a Bazooka box technakly not a box its a cylinder I think they come in 10 inch but it will defanantly fit in your single cab and you wont have to worry about moving the seat up

For me, the best option was to build a box. I mocked one up with carboard first to make a test fit, and it worked out great. Cost me ~ 30 bucks and 4 hours to build a quality box and wrap it in vinyl.

I have never worked with any kenwood products, but I wouldn't persue the previously suggested because they are 5X7's and the 50HZ cutoff doesn't make me happy. Round woofers produce the most accurate bass and a 5X7 won't move much air. And, even with a 91 db sensitivity, 38W RMS won't get you very loud.

But first, have you put in new speakers yet? You will get some accurate and fairly powerful bass out of a nice pair on 6.5" component speakers.
